I think this is an old soulfood group recipe from Beth Phillips. It is truly delicious.
2 Marie Callender deep dish pie crusts
2 cups cubed chicken or turkey meat.
1 can Campbell's chicken and mushroom soup
1 can Campbell's cream of celery soup
1 package frozen soup veggies mix (If using canned mix veggies, drain well, they are a whole lot cheaper too)
1/4 cup milk
dash of garlic powder, or to taste
dash of onion powder, also to taste
Dump all this in a big bowl and mix. pour into one pie crust, smooth out your filling. carefully remove the other crust from the pan, place over the top of the filled crust, crimp, then spray with margarine spray or dot with butter. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes.
I use 2 Marie Callender deep dish pie crusts only. the pet ritz are ok but Marie's are delicious. They are the key to the success of the dish. Jane
